On Monday, March 3, 2025, faculty librarians Jessica Bennett and Raegan Wiechert were presented with letters of promotion by Missouri State University president Biff Williams and interim provost Tammy Jahnke at a celebration in the Duane G. - Exploring the Rare Books Collection
On Sunday, February 23, the American Heritage Girls – Missouri 1118 troop met in Meyer Library to learn more about the rare books collection. The girls and several parents had a chance to see manuscript pages from the 1300s, a miniature set of Shakespeare with its own small bookcase, first editions, and a selection of artists’ books, where the design of the book can be fanciful, reflecting the book artist’s vision and creativity. - Deadline for donor-funded scholarships approaching
The deadline to apply for the annual donor-funded scholarships is Saturday, March 1, 2025. Missouri State University Libraries will again be awarding financial assistance to three students who wish to be library assistants or who want to pursue a master’s degree in library science.
